Part 2-- Lucas(Tianhang)Xu--

 πŸ€’Hello Everyone!Lucaaaa is back
Let's Rush BBBBBBBBBBBBB!!!😈😈😈😈😈

πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡    Gatsby
1.Gatsby is a dreamer☁️, not someone rich and born like Tom or Daisy who does not need to put any effortπŸ’ͺ into this. Also rich people, people like Gatsby are called scammers, criminals🦹🏻‍♀️. Gatsby showed that he is a naive, hopeful young man🌞, he put all his dreams on his dreams. At the same time, he is also very good at disguising himself,πŸ™ˆ trying to make himself an old money. Although Gatsby is very rich,πŸ€‘ his heart is like a child.πŸ‘Ά He is not good at interpersonal communication and will panic when he is about to meet a girl he likes. He naively thinks that his efforts will pay off. He firmly believes that his efforts will be loved by Daisy.

2. The American dream is like a tree🌲, it draws on the efforts and struggles people have made to the dream. As the trees grow stronger and stronger, they can shelter🏠 the wind and rain and create benefitsπŸ’° for those who created the American dream.

3.
“Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter—tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther. . . . And then one fine morning—So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past”(Fitzgerald, 180)

In the novel The Great Gatsby, the pursuit of the American dream is a major theme. When Jay Gatsby first appeared in the novel, he stretched out his hand towards a distant place, as if looking at a green light, but it was definitely out of reach. The green light represents Gatsby's dream And this novel's contemplation of the American dream. Gatsby gave everything he needed to get Daisy. From a low-level ordinary person, he became a rich man by his own efforts. The wealth he created was for Daisy. But at the end of the novel, when Gatsby died, Daisy didn't even come to his funeral. What about Gatsby's great wealth? In the end, all his efforts fell into disappointment under his own death and Daisy's desperation. His wealth will eventually dissipate slowly. What Gatsby has done in his life is limited to creating wealth and holding parties constantly, so who is the beneficiary of Gatsby's dream? It's not Gatsby or Daisy, but it's those old money like Tom who stand by and watch Gatsby's dreams and efforts.

4.In pursuing Daisy, Gatsby thought that he had succeeded, because at the end of the novel he was killed with a strong belief that Daisy would call him, and he thought he had succeeded or it will succeed soon until death. But in fact, Daisy didn't call him at all, and even at his funeral, Daisy didn't show up. So from a practical point of view, Gatsby is undoubtedly very failed.

5.I think Gatsby is the one who should make the most change. He blindly believes😡 that money and his passion for Daisy will make Daisy change his mind, but he does not see the essence of Daisy. His blindness to love eventually led to his tragic ending.

6.

In the video, the vloger said"Unfortunately, like a lot of dreams, what we're dreaming☁️isn't real. This view is very common, but when this view is placed on Gatsby, it makes the life of this man even more miserable. The dream of each of us is untrue, as is Gatsby. The class gap has always been an inexhaustible gap between Gatsby and Daisy, and their different lifestyles have prevented them from being together. If Daisy is really a woman who can stay with him for a lifetime, why would Daisy marry Tom? Therefore, from the beginning to the end, Daisy did not love Gatsby, but Gatsby's passion for her and Gatsby's wealthπŸ’°. Gatsby had an unreal dream, destined that he and Daisy must not be together. All of his efforts fell into disuse when Daisy didn't even attend his funeral. His wealth will become a part of the entire society, and those with old money are very happy to see such a thing happen, and his property may be divided up or recovered by his boss. In his life, he has always pursued his dream to create benefits for others.πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯

  1. HI lucas, Guess who I am! YES, this is Ericool, WHO is ur Favourite bro!!!
To be honest, your choice of photos is excellent and I found it very interesting. At the same time, your layout is neat and comfortable to read. Each paragraph of your blog is a good expression of your ideas, which I think is very good!
In fact, it was your cover that caught my attention and I clicked into your blog without hesitation. The picture of Leonardo releasing himself was so funny that you made me want to read your blog. Of course, you didn't let me down.
My favourite part is when you describe your understanding of the American dream. You used a metaphor to express your ideas vividly. At the same time, you explored the darkness of the American dream. You wrote its depth in a relaxed way, which surprised me very much!
HOWEVER, I think u use The Translator to help u write ur blog, I can smell it just like Alex !!!
And some of the sentence making me feel confuse, such as "he put all his dreams on his dreams". I think u need to make sure ur sentence well organized!!! And also I think u lost one part of The BLOG, which is WHO NEED TO BE CHANGED!!!
Finally, let me give u some advices. Firstly, I think u should avoid to use translate, because some sentence are so hard to read and that can not help u to show ur ideas clearly. Second, I thick u need to add more pictures that can help ur blog more fancy and EZ to read. Finally, HHH. I am taking joking here, that's it, only two comments... LOL, it is a good blog, I love it!
