Part 1
America dream has been considered by many people as the representation of the ideas of freedom, equality, and opportunity that are traditionally through to be available to every American. As for me, American dream refers to the equal opportunity that every citizen in American ought to have to realize their dreams regardless of their gender, race, age, educational level, social status and so on.However, there is discrimination in many places including my family, my mother told me that if I am a girl and my family is poor , I would not be allowed to study abroad. I think it is unfair that everyone should have the same education regardless of gender. Rather than determining the level of education based on gender or family.
One typical case of how American dream is implied is the story of Hilary Clinton. There is a link to the video of her speech in United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing: https://www.pbs.org/weta/washingtonweek/web-video/hillary-clinton-declares-womens-rights-are-human-rights. In this video, it is perceived that she was promoting the notion of equality among man and woman in the global. She promotes that it is necessary for women to share equal right with man in all aspects of life in that the women’s right is equal to the civil right to some extent. Hilary Clinton is actually a typical case of how individual could make efforts to realize her personal dream regardless of her gender. It is a well-established fact that women are implicitly discriminated in the American political field as well as the American society. In Hilary Clinton, the America dream is presented in a realistic way in that she has been making every possible effort to achieve the success in her personal political life as well as the equal right for women. Her efforts allow her to approach the president position in America in an extremely close distance.
