Again, welcome to my site!πππππππππππππππ
Let me introduce some π¦π§π¦π§π¦π§ to u guys..................
π©------------------------------------------------------------------------------π©
Daisy:(nice face~~~)
In fact, in the Great Gatsby story, Daisy is the embodiment of the American dream.
In other words, she is the dream pursued by the middle and lower classes represented by Gatsby.
Daisy was born in an upper-class family.
She is a beautiful but fickle woman herself, an introverted and boring person. Daisy's spiritual world is driven by money. She believes that money makes everything better and even more beautiful.
π¨---------------------------------------------------------------π¨
Gatsby:
Gatsby was born in a poor family (What does it signify? No one in upper class believes in the American dream!), and his dream was to be rich. π

At first, he hoped to make money through hard work but he failed, and then he got money by any means.
He regarded Daisy as his dream, and all his money and even his life were dedicated to Daisy.
Look at another fool
He also is a cunning dishonest person.
Speaking of which, do you know what I think the American dream is------------
Here we goπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆπΆ
The first is the US dollar, I believe everyone knows that the US dollar is value-preserving, so every year citizens of many countries will buy US dollars, which will help the US easily get funds from other countries.
Then through the media, the United States promoted to the world that made in American is the best, and everything in the United States is the best, which provides great convenience for its export, which is another method of absorbing gold.
Finally, because of the propaganda of the American media, the rapid development of tourism and immigration and study abroad has greatly promoted the growth of US GDP.

I know you're curious about the relationship between the characters I'm introducing and the American dream, and here it comes
πππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Gatsby :" Her voice is full of money," he said suddenly.
In the great Gatsby story, Daisy's voice was clearly compared to money by Gatsby. how?
Here clearly shows that Gatsby's American dream is money and wealth. Here is also the backing of Daisy, where Daisy is closely linked to wealth, and the American Dream is clearly linked to wealth, so there is no doubt that Daisy himself represents the American Dream.!!!!!
ππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Nick:" High in a white palace the king's daughter, the golden girl,”
In fact, Nick likens Daisy to a prize(wow, can u believe it...), which symbolizes that the American Dream itself is a prize, making everyone rush to pay for his own consequences. Because people think that no matter how much they pay, the return is always higher than what they cost.
So the American Dream is like a wolf in sheep's clothing, ruthlessly squeezing other people's money.
Money is the point,only y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y yy y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y
Of course, the American dream represented by Daisy is a frivolous and flawed illusion of human beings, but a fragile concept. Her actual life is exactly the opposite (yes!!!) of the American dream. She was born with power and money, and even if she died, it did not affect the life she chose.
πππππππππππππππππ
However in contrast, Daisy, although we don't know the final outcome, can be certain of Daisy's life is still good.
πππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
DAM!!!!!
It is precise because of the beauty of the American dream that people are crazy about it.
π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±π±
Do they ACHIEVE American Dream??????????????????????
Daisy itself represents the American dream, and her bright appearance and ugly heart are the best reflection of the American dream.
In fact, Gatsby did not realize the American dream, because the American dream requires people to succeed through their own efforts. Gatsby looks like a successful businessman, but he got his money in an illegal way. He tried hard, but failed.

So should they change ????????
In fact, I think for them personally, any change is a failure, because the American dream itself is a vision about to crumble.
Just like the present White House, no matter how white the exterior is painted, but it cannot prevent the decay of the interior. One day, the painting speed cannot keep up with the decay speed, and the ugliness will be in front of the world.

Personal strength is always thin, can only wait, rely on the years to change.

In fact, the Chinese media has long been corroded by the culture shock of the United States, and the Chinese media market is full of imitations of the United States. Take the world at large, how many film and television companies have imitated Hollywood, and even India has produced a Bollywood. These are all funded for the United States because of copyright fees.
Just say that our movie "Finding MR. Right", but the actual Chinese translation of the movie should be Beijing met Seattle. Here, the yearning for the United States is revealed everywhere, which helps the United States to receive more immigration and study abroad income. It can even be said that this step of the film has helped the United States to develop the tourism industry, because you can meet UR RIGHT People.
In the movie story, the actor came to the United States in hopes of realizing his American dream and reaping his own success, but he just become a driver.
Isn’t it ironic, is it so ironic, the American dream has long since died
Lucas' Personal comment for Eric's Part 2
ReplyDeleteHi Eric,
This is your little gay boy, Lucas. I think your blog is really good and I'm very enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed the way you described that "the American dream is to cover up the fact that the United States is robbing money with a glossy appearance. " because I think my idea is something similar to yours.
Good Job:" My favorite part of your blog is the Character Analysis. Your analysis of the character is very accurate, and I really like how you described Daisy is the embodiment of the American dream and she is the dream pursued by the middle and lower classes represented by Gatsby. Your sentences and decorations are very humorous, which is very in line with your temperament, I like it very much.
Meanwhile, there are something I think were not so successful, in my opinion. I think you have lots of grammar mistakes and you say "Daisy himself", I think this is a mistake that you should avoid. It will make other people think you are very careless.
PARTS THAT WEREN'T SUCCESSFUL: I think your media example can not support your main idea. Your mean idea is "the American dream is to cover up the fact that the United States is robbing money with a glossy appearance. " But in the media example, you just saying "the actor came to the United States in hopes of realizing his American dream and reaping his own success, but he just become a driver. " So why he can't reach the American Dream by driving? I think you should provide more evidence from your media example to support your explanation about the American.
PARTS TO IMPROVE: First of all, just like what I comment above, you should find more evidence from your media example to support your explanation about the American Dream and you need to prove your grammar skills. In addition, appropriate jokes are necessary, but when you prove your point of view, you should maintain a serious attitude, which will make your point of view more convincing.
Best wishes for you!!!
Love you, man!!!ππππ
