- πΌππΌπΏWENDYyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy's BlogπΌππΌπΏ
Hello guys, Welcome to my blog!!!I hope you can see or find something you like or want to know here.πππ
- Part 1 ππππππππ
- Reality VS. Ideal π« Positive VS. Negative
❤I think the American Dream is anπ
inviolable obsession π
in everyone's heartππ!!!!!!
Everyone should look at the obsession in their hearts with dialectical eyes.
ππππππππππππππ
πππWhat is OBSESSION??-----Obsession implies that people are so much held by intensive desires or ideas of wanting to realize something or to get something. πππNo matter what they have achieved nowππͺ or how poor they areππ, there must be something in their heart to support them. πΊ
ππππππππππππππ
As mentioned in theπππ Declaration of Independenceπππ, the American Dream gives people the right to survival, freedom and the pursuit of happiness.ππ»
πππ I believe that the obsession within the heart of each person has also given each of them the same equal right so that they are free to choose whatever they like to go after or to realize.ππ And likewise, they should also be able to obtain HAPPINESS by realizing the obsessions of their hearts.
π₯π₯π₯But we cannot merely judge whether an obsession is POSITIVEπ or NEGATIVE πbecause its effectsπ£π£ are often UNPREDICTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything has two sides |
ππOn the one hand, obsession can encourage us to work hard to realize our dreams.
ππOn the other hand, obsession may lead us astray. Because many things cannot be achieved through hard work, which also leads to people who cannot meet the current life, have too much unrealistic fantasy.
ππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
For example, I realized the obsession in my heart at the age of 13 --- have a puppy.πΆπΆ
Piggyπ·, I miss you so much!!!! |
Due to academic and other reasons, I failed to take good care of this dog, and he died of illness after eight months.........π§π§π§π§ πΆI suddenly realized that even though I achieved this obsession, I was not as happy as expected at the same time.πΆ
When I did not realize my obsession, I had many expectations in my heartπππ. But when I realized my obsession, I felt despondentπππ.
πππππWHY???????????????πππππ
Through this matter, I understood that we should be responsible for our obsessions and dreams. This shows that the American dream or obsession has a different impact on everyone.
πWe cannot make it dominate our thoughts and actions, but we cannot give up realizing the dreams or obsessions in our hearts.

This is a movie poster for a film ANDHADHUN (The Blind Melody)πΉπΉ. The actor in the movie has the obsession to win the prize in the piano competition.πΈ In order to earn money for the competition, he pretended to be blind.π “Every artist has a secret” shows that everyone has obsession.
Oh, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO~~ LIAR!!! VS. POOR TUNER!!!
Driven by the obsession in his heart, the tuner has conducted deception, and not only did he fail to realize with his dream, but also, he paid a painful price.πππ At the end of the movie, although the tuner was not able to participate in the piano competition to w⚔⚔in the prize❌❌, he finally lived a prosperous life.ππ
- This movie strongly proves the obsession in people's heart, or the American Dream, is like a double-edged sword⚔, which has a positive ✔ and negative✖ impact on people's lives. Therefore, only if we take the American Dream dialectically there be chance of bringing about happier lives for us.
- I think this movie also proves that the American Dream is presented in two ways: REALITY and IDEAL, which depends on HOW people look at it. Everyone's different ideas and visions will lead to different presentations of the American Dream.
