           The American Dream is a daydream for the poor

      Hi, class. Today I will introduce the American Dream for you. If my favorite friends👬and family👪are by my side, it is the happiest thing for me, it is also something many people dream about. The American Dream seems to promise happiness and money to everyone. However, in my opinion, the American dream cannot reflect the whole society, it only represents some of the rich people, so it is a fantasy. In fact, it just gives the poor people a false daydream 😴of being richer. In that case, not everyone can have the American dream in the same way. At the same time, it also gives a fantasy for people about having more friends to a better life. 💰💰💰

     ⏩The thing that struck me most is that China announced years ago that it would achieve the goal of common prosperity for all by 2020, but the reality is not that. The village where my grandparents live is a poor county and almost everyone is farming. 👨‍🌾🌽👩‍🌾When I went back last year, I found that my grandparents had been working in the fields and were still receiving monthly subsidies from the government👨‍🎓. However, my grandparents always believed that they would go to the big city and live a rich life. Many time wealth and happiness are just our pursuit, but few of us can achieve it.😢
              

       👈In this commercial, it makes people think that if you eat McDonalds, you can also be rich and have a big kitchen👩‍🍳like the people in the commercial, but this is not true. However, I think the McDonald’s commercial is trying to use the idea of the American Dream to sell hamburgers, because it will make the poor people think that they can have such a big house by eating McDonalds. Maybe poor people will think that if they just eat McDonalds, they can be like those rich people in one day. Therefore, this commercial gives the poor a fantasy about being richer, which reflects the widespread use of the American dream in the media.

    👉This advertisement for McDonalds🤡, suggests that as well as being rich, if you eat McDonalds you will be happy and have lots of friends. The commercial shows a scene that the man with his girlfriend at an amusement park at night and they are eating onion rings. Then is an outdoor party and a bonfire. 
               
      The problem is that if you eat too much fast food from McDonald's 🍔🍟🥤, it will be bad for your health. If you are unhealthy, it is difficult for you to feel happy and even do not have lots of friends. Also, it just gives many people a fantasy about eating McDonalds will have more friends and have fun. I think McDonald uses the people's pursuit of happiness in order to attract more people.👇

    



     In my view, the American Dream is actually too idealistic. The reality is not that you want to have a lot of friends around you. Many poor people will never become rich, even if they are hopeful. In conclusion, McDonald takes the advantage of people’s desire for happiness and wealth to sell more food. They show an idea of America Dream where everyone can be rich, having a good family and have lots of friends, but this is NOT in line with reality.

Hi, this is Lynn!  In   the Great Gatsby ,  Daisy is the most  mysterious  and  complicated  character. Just as Daisy’s name, her appearance is as beautiful as a flower🔅🔅.  However , her personality is so  vain and selfish😨 . She easily abandoned  Gatsby  and married with  Tom   only because Tom has money and status , though she was supposed to wait for Gatsby to come back from war.  For Daisy, her own happiness and success is established on money and fame.  Therefore, to realize her own “American Dream”, she has to choose from her  old love  and her  carefree future , and Daisy immediately selects  the latter.😞 🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘 Do you remember  my definition of American dream  in the last part? As I said before, the American Dream is a dream which  advocates self-accomplishment . In order to  realize  our own success, we will  focus more on ourselves , and gradually we will  have less patience and empathy to listen to others and understand each other.
